Mindy McGinnis is an assistant YA librarian who lives in Ohio and cans her own food. She graduated from Otterbein University magna cum laude with a BA in English Literature and Religion. Mindy has a pond in her back yard but has never shot anyone, as her morals tend to cloud her vision.

Wow! I didn’t think Not a Drop to Drink was going to have a sequel. The cover is just as wonderful and brilliant as the first! I’m in love. Can’t wait to see what Mindy has next for us (and Lynn)!

When I saw that there was going to be another book I got worried because NADTD was perfect on its own as a standalone and it seems like everything is in a series these days. However, I’m glad that we’re getting a new perspective with Lucy and that it’s not directly taking place after NADTD.

I like the cover, but it’s going to take some getting used to. It grows on me the more I look at it. I like the synopsis too, though I’m a little confused as to why this is considered a companion and not a sequel. I guess I’ll find out in time.
I guess it’s because this book doesn’t take place RIGHT after NaDtD and it’s from a different perspective. I don’t know, but either way I think it will be good.

The cover is great and I’m definitely intrigued by the summary especially since Lynn was dead set against ever leaving her pond in Not a Drop to Drink.

I am completely in love with the cover! And I had absolutely NO idea there was going to be a companion! Mindy created such an incredible world in NaDtD and I love that it will focus more on Lucy.

I had no idea there was going to be a companion novel so my first reaction to all of this was surprise and happiness because I loved Not A Drop To Drink. Thoughts on the cover – I like that it complements NADTD. And on the synopsis – I think telling Lucy’s story is an awesome idea!! I’m really looking forward to reading this.
