To me, this one wasn't quite as good as the first two. Darren, Mr. Crepsley, after a little convincing, Evra leave the Cirque Du Freak after a Vampire General (also Crepsley's dear old friend) arrives with some very dire news. They arrive in a quaint town and stay at a hotel. Mr. Crepsley goes out every
night but tells no one what he's doing. Then six bodies drained of blood are found in a warehouse. Darren thinks Crepsley has went on a killing spree and needs to be stopped. They shadow the vampire and Evra gets caught by the true killer. Can Darren and Crepsley work together to save the snake boy?

This installment in the whole series is my last favorite, which is weird because it actually has a wee bit of romance (I'm a sucker for a sweet romance). The romance is overshadowed though and isn't a gripe if you hate romance. Overall, what I love most about these books, is the action never stops, the pacing is amazing and you can totally knock it out in one day.

Okay book three, tunnels of blood, WOW! Love the book, Love the seiries! It is weird and

gruesome and just cool! I read almost the WHOLE series when i was in third grade, I liked them better than, cause the way Darren shan writes didn't annoy me, he wrote how I did back then, i seen nothing wrong with it, but know that i know more his writing kinda annoys me, but i still love the books! I read the first one in three hours! It would have been two if my parents would have let me skip dinner! lol. I am in LOVE with the whole vampire thing vampires rock, DUH!

In this fast-paced sequel, Mr. Crepsley is on business in the city and takes Darren and Evra with him. Christmas is just around the corner and Darren is the only one who wants to celebrate. He goes shopping for a present for Evra and bumps into a teenager, Debbie. He soon begins dating her.

Meanwhile, there are strange deaths in the city. Is Mr. Crepsley? Or is there another vampire hiding in the tunnels of blood.

I read this in one night. Its a lot better than the second book. Its exciting from the very beginning to the heartbreaking ending.

Follow Darren, Mr. Crepsley, new friends and foes deep into the deadly tunnels of this thrilling story. Exciting and horrifying, but satisfyingly thrilling. And if you think it was good before, just wait till you read what's coming next! That Shan is a sly one, he is...
