Star Sisterz: Nova Rocks

Star Sisterz is a new series out from Mirrorstone (Wizards of the Coast). In each novel, the heroine is presented with a confusing out-of-the-blue dare meant only for them. In Nova's case, it is "Act like a rock star in front of a group of strangers." Will she do it and complete the charm?

Nova's mother dearly wants her to be a ballet star, but Nova's secret passion is guitar and playing rock music. No one knows about Roxy, her guitar, hidden under her bed. And Nova wants to keep it that way because she is afraid of disappointing her mother.

I won't break it to you how Nova completes the charm and changes her life, because it is a nice scene in the book and I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. Sorry. You'll just have to check it out yourself.

I recommend this book for girls aged 8 and up. They'll be looking out for their own dares to complete! As the book says, "Do a dare, earn a charm, change your life!"
