In this third book in The A-List series, Anna thinks she's about to be fired as an intern (which she is), but she stands up for herself anyway. Clark, Cammie's agent dad, hears her stand up to Margaret and cancels the firing and hires her himself to be his intern on the upcoming TV show Hermosa Beach. He likes people with spunk.
Anna is glad to take it, but a little concerned because a) Cammie hates her, b) she knows nothing about TV and c) she's just gotten back with Ben. Soon enough she's the talk of the town as everyone wants to be on the show or at least get the scoop on what's going on.
In the meantime, Anna is with the suddenly jealous Ben, but also thinking about Django, her driver, and Danny, a writer on the show. And she is feeling guilty over Adam, who she dropped like a hot potato to get back with Ben. The girl is obviously not ready to settle down.
To further complicate things, Sam is befriending Adam...which makes Cammie want to do the same. And Cammie finds herself saddled with a snotty new stepsister. And Dee is hanging onto whatever rocker of the moment she finds.
Even Cammie has her moments in this one. She's the girl you love to hate, but she shows her vulnerable side a few times in this book. But even she can't get out of trouble when she double crosses Anna by spreading a rumor that hurts her dad's show and he finds out.
I recommend this book to older teens (at least 14+) for sexual content (these girls and guys seem to fall into bed at the drop of a hat) and some language. Readers of The Gossip Girl series will definitely enjoy this glimpse into how the other half live.

The third novel in Zoey Dean's A-List series begins with Anna Percy having lost her virginity to Ben Birnbaum in a hotel. From there she sees her sister off to rehab, gets fired and rehired on her internship, and meets a hot new guy. Anna is now working for Clark Sheppard, producer of a new hit TV show and father of Cammie, who hates Anna. She has some feelings for her father's driver, the mysterious Django, as well as a guy who works on the TV program, and tries to be friends with Adam, who still loves her. Keeping up with all these changes is quite a challenge.
Anna seems to be changing in ways that aren't good during her fresh start in LA.

Anna is still in California. Callie is jealous as usual and everyone wants to be the best. Callie learns about a new family member and Anna makes sure Ben goes back to Princton. Sam and Anna do great on their film for school.
This was a great book. I couldn't put it down! This book also isn't too long, so is great for people with limited time. I think this is for people 15 and up and people who enjoy the life in California and Hollywood.

Zoey Dean is just an amazing author, and her talent can be found in "Blonde Ambition". I loved this book, it includes teenage girl partying descriptions I could picture in my head. I think this book is great. And I am doing it for a school report. This book captures real life drama in 2 hundred (something) pages. While reading the book, you understand what goes on in the Popular Girl's mind. If your a boy-ubsessed teenager (like me) you too should read worl'ds best book, BLONDE AMBITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blond Ambition was a very good book. It was so suspensful and i couldn't bare to put it down. This book is packed with action and adventure i couldn't bare to put it down. I if you have to read a book this year, make sure its this one because if you don't you'll miss out on an icreadible realistic ficion. Anna is an increadible character and you'll probably want her to kick Cammie to the curb. Hope you don't get as into it as i did. Read this and good luck!

This is the third installment of the A-List series.
Just as predicted, this is just as good as the first two books, including all the teenage drama and love triangles in these Los Angeles wealthy 'princesses'.
Looking forward to reading the fourth in this series.

Well, this series really amazes me!!! Everyone of these book so far that i have read from Zoey Dean have well, I love them!!! I hope they will make a movie out of it because it is fantastic!!! Its for all you Laguna Beach show lovers out there! It's exactly what teens like to read. it would be a blockbuster movie. I gurntee 100%!! Every teen (well, maybe not boys) should try this book out i recommend this book from grades 9- and up. It is kinda sexual and has some drugs and alchol usage in it but it is an amazing novel. I could not put these books down and i finished them in like less then a day. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!

Definitely the best in the series, this book continues the stories of the privileged teens in L.A. In this book Anna continues her job at Apex, working under non other than Cammies dad. At first she has a hard time but before long she makes friends with a handsome writer for the new TV series, Hermosa Beach. In this book you really start to see Annas true colors of which you may not like.
Other storylines include Annas problems with Ben and a surprising romance for the most unlikely couple. I really liked Blonde ambition. If you like Gossip Girls or the insiders youll like The A-list.
