What a fabulous idea this book is. Forget choose your own adventure. Now you get to draw your own adventure, make up dialogue for some of the characters, and decide what some characters look like. It's a combination graphic novel and activity book, and my sixth grader loved it. The stakes are high, the action is non-stop, and the opportunities for interacting creatively with the story are endless. Have a boy who is reluctant to read, who enjoys spy cartoons, or who loves to draw? This is absolutely the story for him. I highly recommend it.

Good points:

I thought it was really good because you got to choose what the characters were like. You got to draw what they looked like, and then choose what they sounded like and even some of the things they did. You even got to choose some of the things they said. The plot was really fun because you never knew what would happen next. It was so good, it made me want to sit down and write a book.

Bad Points:

Nothing.

Final Thoughts:

I thought it was an amazing book. So far, it's the best book I've ever read because it's everything I like in a book.
