There are not too many Little Golden Books that I don't instantly fall in love with, and The Princess and the Pea joins the long list of favorites. This is a great retelling just long enough to keep young ears interested. The illustrations are lovely and have a great vintage art feel to them.

This is a book that will stay on my bookshelf for a very long time.
