This book as a quick, fun read for ages 4-8. The LEGO and DC Comic themed graphics allow for an eye-catching color scheme and a surprising range of emotional conveyance. Better still, the competitive plotline provides a base for showing the true character of both heroes—as they are alternately interrupted to thwart villains and aid their friends along the way. The ending is satisfying, and the takeaway of putting others first is a timeless value.

A great addition to the shelf of any young LEGO or DC universe fan!
