Readers will be mesmerized but he beautiful illustrations and magical storytelling in LIONHEART. The story of a boy named Richard who runs and runs from his fears, but in the end must learn to be brave, this picture book will have young readers asking to read it again and again.

Have I mentioned that the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous? The vibrant colors, attention to detail, and fantastical landscapes give LIONHEART a depth and strength that other picture books just can't quite live up to. On top of that, the storytelling is easy to follow and quite well-written. It's simple enough for a young person to read on their own, but deep enough to talk about at storytime.

The Verdict: A beautiful book with a heart-lifting story of bravery, LIONHEART will have young readers roaring for one more page!
