An absolutely stunning depiction of the ocean and everything in it.

The book:
This book contains everything a kid could want to learn about the ocean from the animals that live in the water to ocean tides to the formation of islands. It's a teaching tool for many subjects.

What I loved:
Everything. The first things I noticed when I opened the book were the beautiful photos. That isn't a surprise. It is National Geographic, so one would expect brilliant photography. But this book goes beyond that even. The pictures alone are enough to interest a child in the ocean. There is a lot of incredibly important information in these pages that kids may not learn in school. The fun style turns learning into more. As an adult, I wanted to read through it as well. It is said to be for kids, but it is really for people of all ages who care about understanding the world around them.

What I didn't like:
Absolutely nothing. This book is perfection and I can't imagine wanting anything more.

Final Verdict:
Vibrant, stunning, educational, just plain amazing - all things that can describe this book along with any other word of praise that can be thought of.
