The Tinysaurs return with an exciting Halloween adventure! Clawdie, Spike, and Roary prepare for Halloween by decorating the house and getting ready to welcome the trick-or-treaters who come to their door. But the Tinysaurs realize that they don't have any candy to give out! Clawdie comes up with the idea that they should go trick-or-treating to get candy, and then they can give it out to the kids who come to their door. And while they're able to collect some candy, they're all having problems with their costumes. Can anything be done to save Halloween?

Meet the Tinysaurs! Clawdie, Spike, and young Roary are tiny dinosaurs who are ready and willing to lend a hand in any situation. These adorable friends always work together to bring smiles and happiness wherever they go!

THE TINYSAURS TRICK-OR-TREAT is a delightful Halloween read. The Tinysaurs are so excited for Halloween, and they start getting ready, only to realize that they forgot the treats. They decide to go trick-or-treating to get treats and though their costumes fall apart, they find that they are great as they are. The story ends with their awesome Halloween celebration and treats for all.

What I loved: This was a really sweet and cute Halloween story, great for dinosaur or seasonal read lovers. The rhyming text is really fun to read aloud and makes for something great to listen to as it rolls off the tongue. Colorful and detailed illustrations featuring adorable dinosaurs really bring the story to life. These are really elevated and fantastic designs that give children something fun to explore on each page. The story is light-hearted and full of charm that bring all the best parts of Halloween, such as trick-or-treating, celebrating with friends, and dressing up, to life with the Tinysaurs.

What left me wanting more: As a very small thing, some of the rhythms were a bit off, making it easier to stumble over and not giving it quite the smooth flow that would have made it even better. A couple of the pages feature dark font on dark backgrounds that are hard to read, particularly over the dark gray clouds and dark blue roof.

Final verdict: Brightly colored illustrations and rhyming text make THE TINYSAURS TRICK-OR-TREAT a seasonal win for preschoolers and picture book readers! Highly recommend checking out this charming read.
