I absolutely love having this book in my homeschool library! It was a fantastic introduction into sustainable farming around the globe!
Each page is bursting with vibrant art, show casing different farms, such as the salt farms in the US and biospheres underwater in Italy!
The author uses decent sized words, and provides a definition of these words on the spread. These pages also skim the surface of these farms. After reading the clever rhymes in the main story, the author included addition information on the farms highlighted throughout her book, as well as why it's sustainable and other facts about the area.
There is also a small section that focuses on Food Justice and food insecurity. Not only are you teaching your children to farm smart and to take care of the earth, you are teaching your child to take care of one another.
All around an awesome read!
