CUDDLY BEAR is a simple and sweet cloth book that is great for babies. The book shows different animals/objects on one page with the opposing page featuring a flap to lift to see another. The final flap hides a mirror.

What I loved: This is a simple but sweet concept with a lot of features that will work well for the youngest readers. It is lightweight and soft, so it is easy to grab, play, and take on-the-go. It also features felt flaps that are tightly stitched into the book so they can be pulled and moved around by rough young fingers. One page also has a crinkle page for some auditory fun, and the mirror is always a hit for little ones. The book also features a nice loop so that it can attached to strollers, carriers, etc. and it comes in a nice box to keep it safe along the way and make it nicely giftable.

The text and illustrations are very simple with smiling animals/objects as well as high contrast black-and-white images that appeal to the littlest of readers. This is a simple concept but done well.
