The beginning of the book is slightly difficult to understand and it takes a while to get into the mood of the book. However, as the book progresses, the story develops with more sophistication, more realism and the plot thickens. This book has Good VS Evil, with characters such as Aunt Beryl and Bruce Trelfo portraying unrepentant, stubborn, indignant characters, compared to characters like Joy Duncan who are remorseful, caring and treat people the way they deserve to be treated.

Like a normal book which has a deep, thorough plot, the book continues to convey a sad, lost, hostile lifestyle until the climax of the book, when tragedy strikes and all is revealed.
