i really liked reading this book even though we had to do it through school i thought it was an ok book to read. i really liked how teenages can realate to alot the situations and problems that carl goes through....

it did take a while and it seemed when i was reading it that it was dragging on abit though by the end i realised that everything then came together...

so i recommend this book...

this book brings up a lot of issue's and is a good mature book (mostly for teenagers.) Many of my classmates enjoyed the book. This book is one that you cant put down once you start it. But still you must have an open mind to this book.

It is about teenager lacking in confidence named carl matt. And a curse of his backround. There are many little clues to why there is a curse. But vaguely it is a backround, who runs, when has problems and dosen't deal with their problems properly. Firstly at the start his sister Sarah, leaves home then his Mum Kerry, leaves. And he is left with himself his brother harley and dropped at his Aunt Beryls. And deals with many problems as the book goes on. He soon becomes a main worker at a barge and becomes a bit of a name in the town. There is much more to the book than this but it is a small summary of what happens in A Bridge To Wisemans Cove. Thanks for reading my report!

Hi My Name Is imogen, i read this book as part of my english class. I thought that reading a class novel would be really boring, but i was wrong.
I thought that at the start the book may have been a bit slow, but i was really interested once i got into it properly. I thought the book was great because it had a lot of realistic problems and insecurities that real teens have.
This book was great!

hi i'm Eda and I read this book for a book assignment. at the start it was a bit boring and repetetive, but after that it was really interesting and suspending. I couldn't put the book down! I would often stay up late just to finish the chapter! I would say that this is nearly the best book i've read. i give it a 9 out of 10. Well done James Moloney!

I personally think "A BRIGDE TO WISEMANS COVE" was a great read. We also had to read this book for a class assessment and im not into reading 1 bit but this story line caputured me so well that i didnt want to put it down. Eventhough i enjoyed this book i still think james could have changed a few things.

A bridge to wisemans cove was a reasonably good book. I probably would have not read it if we hadn't had to study it at school, but I am glad we did. It explains the importance of friendships and families, and how people can be rescued from despair, and the past and their problems. A Bridge to Wisemans Cove was a good read, and I recommened this book to people of twelve and over.

To whoever posted the last entry, you obviously have no appreciation of books whatsoeva.
A bridge to wisemans cove was an insightful and moving story about an unlikely hero who we've all come to love. To anyone who is contemplating reading this book: sure it starts out slow, but what book doesn't...the ending is more surprising and rewarding than any other novel.
highly recommend it!!!!!!!! 13y.o's and up.
