This is kind of a dark book, but it has funny parts also. The main character is exceptionally witty. The author did a great job with Kartek: I'm head over heels in love with him! Certain parts of the story weren't really well explained, like the danger of bringing magic out of the realms. I also think we should have gotten to know the huntress better. But I would totally suggest that you read it if you haven't already, because it's a great book, and you won't be able to put it down!
