A Love for the Pages was a nice and sweet contemporary novel. It's about June Eyermann, a nineteen-year-old whom loves reading classics. She returns home for the summer after her college freshman year. June must find a job for the summer but ends up taking the volunteer position at library. What June doesn't expect to find at the library is her favorite romantic heroes brought to life-all in the same man. Obstinate, prideful and even a bit rude, Everett Rockford.
I liked the characters in this novel! June was sweet and practical. Her younger brother; Owen was nice but also annoying. Her step-father was a bit of a pushover and I didn't really like him. Everett was rude at first, but he slowly started being nicer. Sinjin, Blake and Addy were also really nice and made the story more interesting!
I liked the plot and the way the story was told. I enjoyed reading A Love for the Pages, it was an interesting and romantic contemporary novel. I would recommend fans of this genres to give A Love for the Pages a try!
