For fans of Mary Blair, this treasury is a no brainer. But for those who may not have heard of her or seen her work, it's still a no brainer!

This treasury is a beautiful collection of nursery songs, cradle songs, hymns, folk songs (complete with sheet music and lyrics), and even a few stories with Mary Blair's illustrations. It reminds me of the nursery rhyme book I treasured as a child. Spanning the years 1950 to 1964, each page is a vintage leap back to another time. Mary Blair's whimsical artwork lends a colorful, crisp, and airy feel to the collection. I have no doubt little ones will enjoy reading from this book night after night.
