This was such an awesome book! I love Jane Yolen! I luv to read re-done fairy tales (tam lin is one of my favs) and this one really did a turn on the story that was really nice.

i liked that it was the girl that was more resourceful than the boys and she was a real hero. and that the troll's wives stood up to him at the end for their sons, so maybe there's hope for them.

Foss was cool too, even though he was kind of evil.
