Juliana and Samantha have been friends since they were nine years old, both great dancers. They even belong to the same dancing company! But Juliana starts hurting when she dances, evn just doing every day things hurt her, so eventually she goes to the doctor and foe awile no doctor can figure out what is wrong with her. Then there is doctor conner. She tells Julie that she has Cancer. Julie can't believe it and Samantha also has trouble dealing. This book shows Julie's and Samantha's life while they deal with the cancer. They deal with broken hearts, new friends, jealousy, and when julie stops chemo therapy, her cancer spots keep growing bigger and in more spots. She ends up with a tumor on her brain and then goes into a coma. Samantha has to figure out how to say good bye to her best friend...before it is too late.
This book is awesome. You will want to keep turning pages, even through your tears. I would also recommend reading the sequel, The Farther You Run.
