After she’s murdered by a sexual predator, 18-year-old Jada Gayle must stay among the living until she finds and stops the Internet stalker who killed her. When the Afterlife Admissions Office assigns the now “transdead” Jada to a foster home back among the living, she assumes the identity of a homeless teen and is expected to simply fit in as she hunts down her killer. Then she meets Lew Stanton—captain of the chess team and computer whiz who makes her dead heart beat phantom rhythms in her chest. As if it’s not bad enough to have the hots for a nerd, Jada’s new friend Annalee likes him too. While Jada deals with all this unwanted teenaged angst, the man who murdered her is closing in on more foolish girls. Jada thinks she has plenty of time to handle her predicament until the night she gets a terrifying message: I HAVE YOUR FRIEND.

Nothing about this book is typical zombie. It's loaded with horror, yes. But it also has equal doses of humor. Very hard book to put down.
Good Points
After Me is just the kind of chilling, scary book that keeps you turning pages. It opens with Jada being killed by a sexual predator, and then she has to "come back to life" to hunt down the man responsible, and other creeps who cross her path along the way! After Me will make you feel every emotion possible. You'll laugh, cry, cheer, scream, and wish you could jump into the book to kick Julian's butt yourself. Who's Julian? You should find out! Read. This. Book!

Death can be funny--this book shows the way. While touching on dark subject matter, AFTER ME is engaging and entertaining. Say "hi" to Flo for me.

The most fun Zombie girl you've ever met
Where do I start explaining the creative and amazing style of this book. It will make you laugh, cry and get angry. Jada is so witty and fun, yet there are sad things about her too. One thing is for sure, she can outsmart just about anyone. This tough zombie girl made me fall in love with her and I couldn't put the book down. I read it in almost one day. I even found myself not wanting to go to sleep so I could read another chapter. The creep factor in this book has you hanging off the side of your chair, and I promise you will not put it down. So get everything you need to get done, because you will be hooked from beginning to end.
Good Points
This is not your usual zombie story. I don't normally read these but be prepared to get hooked.
