OVERVIEW
Emerson Watts is anything but an airhead. Em, embracing her boyish name, is a total tomboy. She spends her time playing computer games, and hanging out with best friend Christopher, while making fun of the Walking Dead Whitney Robertson and her group of friends and followers at Tribeca Alternation (TAHS) who think they are at the top of the pyramid. Em would rather die than become a Walking Dead. But what happens when that choice is made for her? With a whole new body thats turning heads everywhere she goes, does Em finally have what it takes to get noticed by the one she loves?
REVIEW
Going into this book, I really didnt know what it was about. Sure I knew that the main character, Em, gets a whole new look, but I didnt know how, although I thought I knew why. Meg Cabot is an awesome author, and Airhead was no exception of hers. The plot is original and very well written. Meg keeps you in suspense long enough to want to know whats going on, but not too long to where you get tired with the book, although I did get impatient at some point. Overall, youre questions are answered throughout the book, except, like a great author, the ones you really want to know which is just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat awaiting the sequel. Being Nikki hits stores in May 2009.
