The sniper’s bullet nearly killed him. But Alex Rider managed to survive . . . just in time for more trouble to come his way. When kidnappers attempt to snatch a fellow patient from the exclusive hospital where Alex is recovering, he knows he has to stop him. But the boy he saves is no ordinary patient: He is the son of Nikolai Drevin, one of the richest men in the world. The eccentric billionaire has been targeted by Force Three, a group of eco-terrorists who claim his project Ark Angel—the first luxury hotel in outer space—is a danger to the environment. Soon Alex discovers that Force Three will stop at nothing to destroy Ark Angel, even if it means sending four hundred tons of molten glass and steel hurtling down to Earth and killing millions . . . unless Alex can stop them.

A lot of fun, but more of the same. I liked it and it kept me reading. so that's great. A little bit far-fetched though...

I will keep reading about Alex's adventures when I don't have something to read (or I want something easy), but it's just for fun.

What can I say? I was actually quite disappointed with this book. Well, not the book only, but the series itself as it is becoming quite repetitive. I liked the Scorpia, the previous book, because it was a new twist, something completely different. But the books coming seem like there's just a reason why he does a mission, and then the mission itself. It's no longer as exciting. I still feel the thrill, but sometimes wave of boredom wash over me as I reason that perhaps I've read this before, except in a slightly different situation in a different location. The fun's not in it as much. I guess it should still be read if you want to read the whole Alex Rider series, but now that I think about it, it doesn't seem like a vital part of who Alex is or anything about him. It's true that this one had some neat ideas- out of space hotels and such, but it wasn't a vital part of who Alex Rider is. Yes, he still saved the world. That's just it. It just seems like a mission. Another one. We've had missions before, but this one had nothing new except ideas, not information. Sorry...

Anthony Horowitz does it again! Ark Angel was wonderful, just like the other Alex Rider adventures before it...gripping, breathtaking, and suspenseful! Alex has just been shot by a sniper(Eagle Strike) and even while in a hospital, manages to find danger and adventure. We follow Alex to Nikolai Drevin, the billionaire, and Force Three, a sinister group that kills(supposedly)for the environment. Mystery engulfs Alex's stay with Drevin, working once more for the CIA, and witnessing a colossal rocket launched for an extraordinary purpose-Ark Angel.

This book is the greatest ever actually all of Anthony Horowitz books are great, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat its a great mix of fantasy, fiction and a lot of facts, i love it everyone should read it.
Even though Alex should be a little older, because i think he is a bit to mature to be 14 he should be around 16 or 17, Alex goes into space sent by the Australian secret service.
A definite read i don't want to say anymore because it will ruin the book for you.
