The M16 have found only one link to the supposed "accidental" deaths of two of the world's most
powerful men : both had a son attending
Point Blanc Academy - an exclusive school for rebellious rich kids, run
by Dr Grief. Armed with a false ID and a new collection of cool disguised gadgets, Alex must go to the academy as a
pupil and establish the truth about what's really happening there.

When I first read stormbreaker I found it pretty good, I could hardly stop reading when I read the second one I was amazed, this one is so much better it was brilliant, I loved it. It's probably, in my opinion anyway, the best of all the Alex Rider books. The action was great and it's a bit more sinister and more exciting then the first one. If you read the first Alex Rider book I highly recommand you read this one.

Alex gets a call one day asking him to do another mission.  Alex refuses because the last mission was too dangerous.  Taking no was not a possibilty.  They blackmail him into taking the assignment.  The investigation is of 2 murders of 2 very important rich people.   These murders are connected to the Point Blank academy where kids who get kicked out of regular school go.  Unbeknowst to their parents, the school is cloning the kids and trying to steal their parents' money.  Alex goes undercover in the school as a rich man, Sir David Friend's, son to see what is going on.  Read the book and see if Alex makes it out of the Academy alive!

This was a great book, overall. Alex Rider gets caught moving a huge crane, and the police catch him. MI6 wants him to do something else, or face the police.
So, almost forced, Alex Rider has to go and do another one of his missions. I can understand why he wouldn't want to do them, but I myself would be very excited.
On this mission, Alex will go to a rich-boys school. First, he stays at the family's house (mansion?) that he is to pretend to be in the family. He has a sister, Fiona, in this identity. Fiona, of course, really doesn't like him. I can't see why. XP. After narrowly saving Fiona, Alex rejects her when she asks him to do something.
Then, he is picked up and then he's at the school. He meets one friend, who seems to be the only one to differ from the other boys. But why? When I read the answer, I was thrilled, as well as creeped out.
This isn't really a must-read, but it's still wonderful, but be prepared for some twists, and to be totally creeped out!

Have you read Grooshan Grange? It's a book by Anthony Horowitz which was published in late 80s. It was about a boy sent to a mysterious school to learn magic! ( Some people(including myself) say that Harry Potter is copied from Groosham Grange) Anyway, students disapeared in midnight of their birthday and after that day, they enjoyed the school! Same thing happends in Point Blanc( write spelling is with "c" not "k" )Students disapear in midnights and after that, they enjoy the school!

The chapters before school are a bit loose, Skoda and all that. I liked the way Alex refused to kiss Fiona " I prefer to kiss the horse! " But the chapters that happen in the school are realy fun, full of action.

The last chapther was annoying. you didn't know who have survived, Alex or Grif?( After Skeleton Key was published, I got my answer )

The part I liked the most was the night operation, with Wolf.

Point Blanc is much better than Stormbreaker, But if you read Groosham Grange before this, you know most of the story and it becomes loose for you.

The second Alex Rider book, this is much better than Stormbreaker. It starts right from the begining with action and suspense as you witness an assasin executing his plot to assasinate a very rich American.MI6 has been noticing other mysterious deaths of wealthy men, the one thing they have in common is all of their sons go to a school called Point Blanc. Alex is sent to Point Blanc to investigate and is caught up in the plot of a crazy scientist. Will Alex survive!?!?

I think this is so much better than Stormbreaker. Unlike Stormbreaker it starts out with suspense. Try it!!!

The book was writen well and moved fast. It was intriging, because though clues were given, but not at a rate that the information can be totally pieced together. I loved it. The book was a wonderful action/mystery.
