I didn't know what to expect of this book when I began, but I must say, I'm quite impressed. Horowitz used extreme adventure and suspense to write this well-structured book. Having read the previous books in the Alex Rider series, I thought this was one of the more exciting books Horowitz has written. I loved tagging along, learning more about Alex, his parentage, and his personality. This is a book I'd certainly recommend, even to a reluctant reader.
