I really enjoyed this book because it is one of the sweetest books I have read. I like the idea of Samantha not being the prettiest girl and that she is kind of a rebel. This makes many types of people want to read this book. I like the fact that she described as not very pretty and ending up with a cute guy.

Samantha Madison is a normal teenager until she saves the president while ditching her art class. He is very grateful and invites her and her family to have dinner with his. She meets David, the president's son. She kind of likes him, and he kinda likes her. There's only one problem: she's in love with her popular sister's boyfriend. Read this book if you like the Princess Diaries because this is a great, fun book that you will love. I know I do.

Sam saves the president and the president's son just might be in love with her. On top of that, her art class is driving her wild and she's in love with her sister's boyfriend. What's a girl to do?
Despite the fluffy summary I just gave and the weird summary in the book, I found this novel exceptionally deep. Sam's often naive perspective on the world changes dramatically throughout the book. Only when she's shown the obvious does she see. As my title states, maybe when you read the book, you see and read the words but don't actually read between the lines.

All-American Girl, by Meg Cabot, is a hilarious book about what happens to a normal teenager who saves the president's life. Samantha Madison may have to wear her older sister's hand-me-down bras and in love with her boyfriend, but when she saves the president from being shot, she suddenly becomes a hero. She is appointed teen ambassador to the UN and becomes famous. This would all be cool, if she actually was a hero. And another thing: the First Son might be in love with her.
This is another hilarious book by the author of the popular Princess Diaries series. All-American Girl is a cool book with a creative and imaginative plot. If you want a good laugh and learn exclusive information about the White House, read this book.

I really enjoyed All American Girl because it was very realistic and down to earth. I thought that Samantha's struggle with fame, love, and art was funny, yet it seemed like something girls go through all the time. I liked the way Sam always stood up for what she believed in even though the "Kris Parkses" of the world didn't agree with her. Even though she became a huge celebrity, she didn't worry about what everyone thought, and she stayed true to her friends and was humble.

This book, was so interesting and exhilarating i could not put it down , the relationship between david and samantha was so amazingly beautiful.David and Samantha remind me of people , they are such realistic characters, except for the fact that she saves the president of the United States life. lol, but still, this book was amazing , and if you havent read it yet, do it now ! trust me you wont be able to put it down.

Samantha Madison is just a regular girl. She's fifteen years old, a sophmore in high school, and doesn't pay attention in Deutsch class. But then she saves the president's life, and her world turns upside down. First she's appointed Teen Ambassador to the U.N. Then she thinks that the president's son, David, might like her. But she's totally in love with her sister's boyfriend. So what's this weird frission thing with David? Sam is a believable heroine, and she's easy to empathize with. Meg Cabot has written another winner with this book which girls all over the world will love.

All-American Girl is about a pretty normal girl named Sam with two extraordinary siblings. Her older sister Lucy is beautiful and popular and her younger sister is a genius. Sam is stuck in the middle. But one day Sam's life is changed when she saves the president from an assassination attempt. Suddenly, the spotlight is on Sam. But Sam still has problems with her life- she is forced into art lessons with a woman who tells her she can't see, she's in love with her older sister's boyfriend, and worst of all, the president's son is in love with her.
Wow, this book was really fun to read in my opinion. Sam is just a normal girl like anyone. The whole idea might be kind of unrealistic, but that makes it fun.

Meg Cabot, best known for her Princess Diary's series, yet we all know her other books are also the best, has done it once again. All-American girl is an excellent book the never lets you put it down and makes you beg never to be over.
Though highly fictional, and one of those stories where you think thats never going to happen, it captures your full attnetion.
I love this book I couldnt put it down. Its a must read once again.
