ahhh a book not about a papered princess who spends her days shopping and nights partying...

i loved how the book title wants you to believe that when it's really about a punk-rocker girl with a passion for art. she's different from the other girls i read about. she's forced by her parents to join art classes, but ditches to go to her favorite record store. she then stops a killer from assassinating the president. she becomes famous for that. she falls in love with the president's son but also with her older sister's boyfriend. this book has a mix of things that wouldn't normally be together but comes together in a great way.

All American Girl-
The book was about a normal unpopular girl, Sam. She is a wonderful artist, who can draw almost anything. When her parents find out she has been drawing, instead of focusing on her foreign language, they force her to join local art lessons. While waiting for her ride to go home she sees the presidents car stop and go in to the local cookie store, a man standing beside her pulls out a gun&&..
This book was a very good book! I loved it&and I cant wait to read the sequel!!!

The book was very unrealistic in two ways. One of which was good and the other bad. The whole saving-the-president-and-his-son-falling-in-love-with-you thing was great. That chosen story line was different and overall very enjoyable. It was fun reading about something that would never happen to me. Meg was very creative while writing this book, but now thinking about it are any of her book realistic? Not really. The part that I didn't like was that Sam was so blind about David liking her. I mean it was so obvious! It kind of got annoying how Sam would get mad or annoyed while David was obviously flirting with her. Also some of the characters were under-developed. I would have loved to get to know Catherine and Rebecca. Overall though the book was very well written and I enjoyed reading it.

i think it was a great book. i liked how she was a diffrent character than the usual type of characters they put in books. i don't understand why she doesn't try to be friends with more people though.

i don't mean like being popular like her sister or anything, but just a few more friends wouldn't hurt. I can't believe her sister uses horse conditioner. i liked how she was friends with her maid.

i really liked her maid though; she was really funny. i waish i had a mom like her! well, mabey not the part about her knowing about everything i'm doing. her real mom's job is ironic: she is an environmental lawyer meaning she cares about the world and stuff, but she totally ignores her own three daughters cus she's so busy all the time.

This book was great! It was definitaly one of Meg Cabot's best books. I could not put it down.
Skip art class to listen to music and end up saving a presidents life what are the chances?
Samantha ends up doing just that and ends up becoming and overnight celebrity.
Her life gets more complicated when she falls head over heels for the President's son.
It's a MUST read for ALL girls Canadian, American, European or African. Wherever your from you NEED to read it!

Whoa, what a terrible book. This book was so boring, and what a terrible story line. OK so she saved the presidents life, but the rest of the story was a total bore. Why would anyone want to read this book. I know that it was a complete waste of my time.

While not the most believeable book ever written, I certainly enjoyed reading it. I absolutely loved David. He seemed so nice and sweet and i almost cried when he found out that sam was useing him to get to jack. I mean how could sam think jack was better than david? ugh. but it turns out ok in the end so its all good =). Sam was a good character because she wasnt perfect and pretty which i like in a main character. it makes them more believable.

I really enjyed this book>
I thought it was a great idea for a story.

Samantha is just a normal teenager who loves to do what most people do, listening to music, drawing, you know what i mean.
Anyway Sam's in trouble and has to join an art class. Most of the people their are all old exept David. The next lesson after Sam totally embarrassed herself she saved the presidents life!!!
Who also happened to be davids dad!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now Sam's life has totally changed>

Great book, you have to read it!!
