This book was really good. I liked that Samantha learned a lesson and stopped being so cynical. She misjudged a lot of people and that kind of hurt her reputation. Even Josh thought she was harsh. She realized that it wouldn't hurt for everyone to be a little nicer everday.

I'm sorry she didn't win the election, though. She would have made an OK prez. She really tried so I believe she will get into a good college.

I loved the ending when she realized that the guy she was supposed to be with was right there all along. Not Brad or Josh, they just wanted a girlfriend and weren't even that interested in her. But Logan,he was always there. Though they had previously broken up, everyone knew there were still sparks between them. When he came to get her for their date a day early because he lost their bet, that was sweet. When he kissed her in the parking lot, that showed that he really did like her all along. JIn the end, Logan was Samantha's ideal guy.

At first, i thought this is going to be just another high school story about someone's running for student body president, but it turned out to be much more than that. it's also about friendship, paying respect to others (typical quality people learn as they go along, i know)told in a whole different way. a nice change.

This book was a very great book. Me and my friend were at our school book fair and my friend said "yay! I love this author! Perfect they have two books i havent read by her.Kayy, you'll really love her books. You should get one and I'll get the other and we'll switch when were done reading." I agreed to her deal and I got "All's Fair in, Love, War, and High School."
I started reading it that night and I already loved it. I was half waty throught the book in 3 days and I went back to the book fair and bought "Life, Love and the Pursuit of Free Throws"

The whole time I read it I wanted to know what happens quickly and at the same time didnt want it to end. I loved the ending so much!

I would reccomend this book to any girl that likes books that you can relate to. They are fun enjoyable and just plain GREAT!

I did a powerpoint presentation on her in library class and i got to search on her and all her other books. this only made me love it even more! I got backround information on everything. I cant wait until I get to read her other books!

When I saw this book on the shelf, I didn't think much. I thought it would be another one of those shallow books where all the girl does is complain. But I felt like reading something, and the summary was pretty interesting. So I picked it up and finished it in one day.
The story was really refreshing, and I ended up liking all the characters. I thought I would get annoyed at the main character, but I felt the opposite. I found myself laughing out of nowhere. If you want something fun to read, definitely check this book out.

Samantha Taylor is a cheerleader whom everyone thinks has a perfect life. Well, think again. She bombed the SAT, got dumped by her boyfriend three weeks before prom, and is campaigning (and possibly losing) for student council president. On top of all that, she got roped into a bet with an old boyfriend that she can't go two weeks without insulting anyone. But Samantha is determined to live up to everyone's expectations and win-- the bet, the election, a date for prom, and a better score, and she'll go to no lengths to reach her goals. You know what they say: all's fair in love, war, and high school. Samantha is a lovable character who will have you rooting for her throughout the book, despite her occasional lack of scruples.
