Angus=the narrator's (Georgia) pet cat. Thongs=self explanatory. Full-Frontal Snogging=kissing...the kind reserved for boyfriends! Now that the title is explained, the plot must be as well. Georgia is a teenage girl living in the UK. She goes to an all girl school and loves to break the rules. She has a quite embarressing family that she likes to avoid. And she is always seeking a potential soulmate. Basically, she is the steriotypical teenager.

But who knew being a teenager(or reading about one) could be so fun? This book follows the crazy things Georgia does, with plenty of jokes along the way. Everything is magnified, intesified, and exaggerated for comic effect. Though there is no real point to the book, it goes by fast and you'll be begging for the sequels. I especially loved the dictionary in the back full of words from the U.K. This book was a different read for me because it was a teenager story with a new twist-I learned how teens from the U.K. are so like us.

Louise Rennison's books are kinda hard to understand once you first read them, but after awhile, you get them. This is book #1 in the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson series.

In this book, Georgia goes through normal teenage girl things like boys, boobs, make-up, friends, family, and school.

I think all girls will love this, maybe even some boys.

This book is SOO funny. I was laughing out loud when I read this. I have not read a funnier book than this one. I love the way she says things and me and my friends try to talk like her. Go and get this book, because it will be your moneys worht :)

I was reading this book on the bus on a school trip once, and this girl told me that this is one of the funniest book ever. I had read enough to agree with her.

The most hilarious things happen to Georgia. In her diary, she writes exactly what's on her mind. My favorite part is when one of Georgia's teachers talks about BO and she and her friends run screaming to the showers. The gym teacher is surprised that she didn't even have to force the girls to get in the showers and stares at them in amazement. Then, the girls remember that she is a lesbian and runs screaming out.

Remember to read the glossary (which is also hilarious) to understand some of the Bristish terms. I cannot wait to read the next book. If you like this book, also check out the princess diaries series.

I recently read this book and I couldn't put it down. It was so interesting that I read it in 2 days and even my friend who hates who read loved it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes crazy stories that are so outrageous but funny. I love the way this book is written because it's easy to read and easy to keep going. Funniest book I've read in a long time can't wait to read the second one.

This book is an awsome book! I read it a few months ago & loved it! I let my 2 best friends read it and they liked it, too. We all did a book report on it. I so recommend this book, exspecially to teenage girls~ who like to read other teenager's diaries. LOL. It is a funny book. I just rented it again today. I want to read the new 2nd book to it, called "On the Bright Side, I am now the girlfriend of a sex god...further confessions of georgia nicolson". You'll have to read it too, after you read the first one. I garentee you'll like it!

THIS BOOK WAS MARVY FAB AND DOUBLE COOL WITH KNOBS!Its not exactly fully realistic but at times in beetween all the hilariosity there's definetly some stuff that is totally real for a teenage girl. When reading these books i have to tell myself to slow down so i dont get through them to fast which i have! I cant wait ti'll the next 2 books and I advise Louise Rennison to look into a movie career for georgia!
