FEEDBACK
This story was unbelievably fantastic. I really wish I would have read this sooner but I’ve been having harder times getting into books lately and I knew Kyoshi would deserve my whole attention. And I was correct. From the very beginning, this world completely absorbed me. The story was intriguing and so unexpected. There is so much I can dove into without spoiling but certain events that happened literally made my jaw drop. This is fantastic as I never knew what to expect. Each action felt necessary to the progression of the story. I will admit some parts seemed really slow, especially Jianzhu’s point of view, but I understood the reasoning for them.

How do I even start with these characters? Kyoshi was amazing. Every part of her I loved. I honestly don’t think she could have been written better. Her inner turmoils and resolves were down so well that her character was one you wanted to succeed. The realization that she is actually the Avatar and the consequences it might have on how the current world was. It was the reactions that made me really feel for the characters. Especially Yun. While obviously I wanted Kyoshi to succeed, it was heartbreaking reading about Yun and how he would have been an excellent Avatar. And then Rangi. Oh my goodness did I love her character. The seriousness and relief she brought into the story was perfect. The Flying Opera Company again was probably the best way for this story to go. I don’t know how the beginning of Avatar Kyoshi’s life would have been if it wasn’t for them.
