Nothing new here. A possible futuristic world similar to Nineteen Eighty-Four. Instead of Big Brother its a corporation called Global-1 and the issue is cloning instead of mind control with a tattoo stamped on your arm instead of screens and loudspeakers. The main character Kayla, was really annoying. Every chapter it was like "oh my god!" I had to fight the urge to throw the book down. It took several tries to finish the book--that's how many times I threw it down in disgust. Not very exciting and way too over-the-top. For a much better and credible read on this topic read 1984.
