There is a lot more to writing than essays and book reports. This book shows young writers the tricks of the trade and helps them showcase the creativity and talent they have inside.

Some of my favorite chapters from this book are:

Ch 3 "Be a Drafter" the author helps the reader figure out what kind of drafting is best for their style.

Ch 6 "Be a Publisher" a basic understanding of publishing and some tips about how young writers can publish their work.

Ch 10 "Be a Fiction Writer" offers some nice exercises and activities to help stir up your creative juices.

Overall, this book is worth reading. I read the electronic version but there is also a print version.
