From the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Wait for You

Do Teresa and Jase have a real shot at getting together or will life get in the way?

Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she's in love with her big brother's best friend, but he hasn't spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, life-changing kiss. Then she got out of a terrible relationship. Now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It's time for plan B: college. And maybe she'll have a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.

Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he's not telling anyone—especially not his best friend's incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn't have time for a relationship. But it doesn't help that all he can think about is kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.

As they're thrown together more and more, Jase and Teresa can't keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they're willing to risk to be together and what they're willing to lose if they're not. . . .

Dare I say that I love Jase more than Cam? Because I do. Yes, there it is, I said it. J. Lynn once again delivers a fantastic NA story that had me sitting down and reading until I finished.

What I loved: One thing that I love most about this series is how readable it is. When I sit down with one of J. Lynn's books I know I need to clear my schedule for the next few hours because there is no way that I will be able to put the book down. Tess and Jase are both likable characters. They are fun, energetic and fiercely loyal to those they trust. They both have issues in their pasts that weigh on them and these lead to some pretty dramatic moments between the two of them. Along with a physical chemistry that is off the charts they have the ability to really see each other and understand what makes them the way they are. They really are a great match. And really ladies, when you're feeling down in the dumps a cute guy showing up with a cupcake can fix almost anything, right?

What left me wanting more: Nothing, except I could have used a few more chapters of Jase but maybe that's just me.

Final thoughts: Fans of Wait for You will adore Tess and Jase's story. And don't worry, Cam and Avery make many appearances along the way.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series, Wait for You, so I was super excited to read the next book in the series. While I was sad that we weren't getting another story about Cam & Avery, I was not at all disappointed because they are in this book, a lot! Plus I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love Tess and of course, Jase.

What I loved:
I love Tess and her sarcastic attitude, but she is so sweet and honestly reminded myself of me. She had me laughing out loud with her thoughts and I totally got her insecurities (though she really didn't need to be insecure). She has really been through a lot, and it was wonderful to see her finally stand up for herself and a friend (who is being abused by her boyfriend).
Jase Winstead is a, oh my goodness I cannot even think of a word to describe him. He is thoughtful, funny, conceited (but in a good way if that makes sense), and extremely charming. I really loved how he helps out his parents and his little brother so much.

Tess and Jase do not have an uncomplicated relationship. Both are dealing with things from their past and while they care about each other, they have to figure out how to be together. While it was a bit embarrassing for me to read about their *ahem* affection for each other (*blushes*), I really loved how real their feelings were for each other and how they fought so hard to keep them secret. Not to mention the fact that Jase is Cam's best friend and doesn't want to break the code of not dating your friend's sister!

Cupcakegirly references and cupcakes! Come on! Jen is one of my all time favorite people, so the fact that J. Lynn put her in this book was incredibly awesome to read! And I really really want a cupcake.

What left me wanting more: Absolutely nothing. I felt like J. Lynn gave me enough extra story on Cam and Avery, while still focusing the story on Tess and Jess. And she left nothing to the imagination. *blushes again*

Wonderful addition to this series! I adore J. Lynn's work and will absolutely read anything she writes.

What I Loved: I was really excited to read this and I didn't think it was possible to love any New Adult book guy more than Cam Hamilton from WAIT FOR YOU (I have a cupcake named after him for cookies' sake), but J. Lynn has done it again! Jase Winstead had me at cupcake. ;)

Well-crafted, funny, and intensely romantic, BE WITH ME is a story of love, loss, and discovering that some of life's biggest blessings come from our darkest moments.

Complex and completely relateable, Tess and Jase are characters doing their best to navigate through some tough issues while figuring out how they fit into each others lives. Tess has already been through so much by the time she gets to college and putting her painful past behind her isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Neither is facing a future that looks different than she imagined.

Jase on the other hand, is so used to doing what's best for everyone else that he may lose the one thing he needs most if he can't figure out how to forgive himself for his own mistakes. They find comfort in each other as well as those little pink boxes of confectionery perfection, but it may not be enough, especially when things take a turn for the dangerous and whatever time they have together could be cut short.

I liked that Tess didn't let Jase get away with much and that she didn't give up on him when he was being stupid. While I understood where Jase was coming from, there were still moments when I wanted to shake some sense into him. However, he did have a way of redeeming himself with those little pink boxes.

Fans of Cam and Avery will be happy to know that they make an appearance too.

What Left Me Wanting More: Nothing. Although, I did wish I had a cupcake on hand while reading. ;)

Final Verdict: A sweet addition to the WAIT FOR YOU series!

On a personal note: Thank you J. Lynn for featuring my cupcakes and making me a fictional character. I owe you a lifetime supply of chocolate peanut butter cupcakes! ;D

Teresa Hamilton is a dancer. She wants to make it big. Then she has an accident and she has to wait and see if she will be able dance again. she goes off to college taking classes to be a teacher. The same college as her older brother and his best friend, Jase. The same best friend who kissed her a year ago and whom she has strong feelings for. Things are bumpy from the start.

Jase Winstead has secrets. A dark past that keeps him very truly living his life. He has feelings for Teresa but refuses to allow himself to truly be with her (thus the name of the book).

The book is pretty predictable, I saw the two big twists coming from a mile away. It was still an enjoyable read though. I've not read the first in this series yet but I've seen a lot of reviews and most said this wasn't as good as the first and I could see that. I mean this book is good but the way the couple yo-yo can get boring or even upsetting. But Jase had so many reasons to push her away. He loved her but he didn't want to lose her like he lost Kari (it's always awesome when book characters share my name).

Teresa is ready to give him everything, even after being abused by her ex. She trusts Jase and loves him. He keeps pushing her away and she doesn't find out the full reason until close to the end of the book. What I liked was she was even willing to accept Jack and for a girl that young it's usually something that wouldn't happen.

They make a cute couple and this book is very cute. It deals with abuse in a tasteful way and I really enjoyed how Teresa wasn't a scared victim anymore. She was a strong young woman. She would make a good role model.

I received an ARC of this book from the publishers for participation in a blog tour and in exchange for an honest review.

I read Wait For You, the first installment in this series, and fell in love with the characters. I am not ashamed to admit that most of the reason I wanted to read this book was to see what happened to Cam and Avery from the first book. I hadn't really known much about Jase and Teresa from the first book, so I was just so-so about reading about them. I was hoping I would come to like them as much as I did the first set of characters.

Teresa has suffered an injury to her knee that has forced her into a break from professional dancing. Struggling to find something to do with her time and keep her mind active, she decides to return to college. But not just any college. The college her brother and his sinfully sexy best friend, Jase, attends. She has had a crush on Jase for years and after a surprising kiss a year ago she is hoping for a chance to explore that avenue. But Jase seems put off by the fact that she is Cam's sister, so she must continue to nurse her crush in silence. That all changes when the more time they spend together, the more apparent their attraction for each other shows through. Teresa knows that Jase has some sort of baggage but isn't sure what it is or how she can possibly get beyond his built-up walls to possibly find love with him.

Teresa is still dealing with the aftermath of surviving an abusive relationship. She has come through it relatively unscathed. She doesn't blame herself for her ex's vicious behavior, but she does feel a monumental amount of guilt for her situation dragging her brother into the middle and almost ruining his life. As she starts to notice telling signs of her roommate suffering the same type of relationship she had with her ex, Teresa struggles with her decision to speak up or stay silent. With the sociopathic air that surrounds her roommate's boyfriend, speaking up may just get Teresa into an even tougher situation that ever before.

I have a major book author crush on J. Lynn (aka Jennifer L. Armentrout). I love everything she writes. I read Wait For You and absolutely adored it. I was anxious to see what happened next. This book, while not as astonishingly breathtaking as the first one was just as well written and engaging. I loved Teresa's character. She was so incredibly strong and went through so much that I couldn't even imagine having to deal with. She was the type of woman I would admire in reality and found myself almost worshipping with every page turn.

Jase on the other hand, was a bit too hot and cold for me. I know that if he was just gung-ho for their relationship from start to finish it wouldn't make the book heartbreaking (as all New Adult books seem to be), but his constant "you deserve better" and "you don't want to be involved with me and all my baggage" stuff was a bit annoying. I just wanted to shake him and tell him to stop wussing out. It was a vast difference from Cam and Avery where Cam was the one determined to see the relationship through and Avery was the one running away at every turn.

All in all, I did enjoy Be With Me. I think it was a fundamental next step in the cast for the sequel. I have to wonder who the next book will feature. Ollie, maybe?
