In spite of my inability to say the word “panties” in front of my children (ack! I cringe at the word because for some reason, it reminds me of kinky Victoria’s Secret lingerie), this book is a great introduction for my two-year old to the world of being a ‘big girl’ and transitioning from diapers to underwear. The main character has two giant pigtails which add to the quirky cuteness of her prancing around in all different kinds of big girl panties. She shows off all the different kinds of undies she has and tells a baby and a toy crocodile a thing or two about who gets to wear panties (hint: big girls). Not a tremendously different or unique book, but valuable for adding some fun to potty training all the same.
