Our household loves Binky! Binky is one serious cat who feels he's responsible to save his humans from the aliens outside. Binky has been through a few adventures and in this latest book, he has been promoted to lieutenant. This is serious stuff. Binky has to train a new F.U.R.S.T agent. Problem is the new recruit is nothing like Binky thought. Plus to make matters worse? He thinks the new recruit is a spy for the aliens.

This book is laugh out loud hilarious. Binky takes his calling as a lieutenant seriously. The illustrations in this book are engaging as is the premise of an adorable cat who thinks he's an agent. What the aliens are is totally hilarious. I guess if you're a cat, it would make sense. But man those aliens are pretty smart too. Binky is kind of a snob when the new recruit isn't a cat like he is. I love how the author shows Binky's reaction and the ending is just perfect.

I know this book is also perfect for those reluctant readers out there. As a former first grade teacher I know that this format(early graphic novel style) is appealing as well as engaging for students that don't like reading just text. I know as my own son was one of those reluctant readers and we started with a Binky adventure. He loved it!

Adorable hero with a serious mission to achieve! This book is guaranteed to have younger readers want to follow Binky on another adventure. Who wouldn't want Binky on their side against nasty aliens buzzing around?
