Firelight fans need to read this for two reasons:
1) Because Az needs her own, full length story after this.
2) Because Az meets a boy who may just rival Will/Cassian in the hotsauce department.
3) Because Tate. That is all.

I didn't even know there was a short story for the series. I don't think I've read the third book yet (if I have, I obviously didn't care for it much since I've forgotten), but I wasn't too impressed with the sequel. I did enjoy the first book, though. Maybe this short story would bring back my feelings from the first book.
