Bros is a perfect preschool/toddler book to shine a light on how amazing brown-skinned boys are. With just two words per page, this book delivers powerful affirmations for our youngest readers. I love that there are so many books out there shining a light on girl power but sometimes it is easy to forget that boys need to see themselves in a positive light surrounded by friends and enjoying fun activities too. I love that there is a boy in a wheelchair engaging in all the activities and a full member of the group of friends as well. The illustrations are bright and joyful filled with energetic boys smiling and being themselves. Overall, this is a great book promoting joyful affirming love for our boys that the youngest of readers can enjoy.
