This book is just lovely. Camellia is quirky and fun. She loves the idea of being a flower girl. She practices constantly, waiting for the day when someone will finally invite her to be a flower girl in a wedding. But when the day finally comes, nothing goes as Camellia expects. She has to share her flower girl duties with two other girls, and neither of those girls does things the way Camellia does. Camellia has to learn that it can be fun to celebrate what makes us different along with what makes us the same.

The illustrations are beautiful, the story is lovely, and the moral is one I want my daughter to learn. I highly recommend.
