This book definitely feels like a YA book. It honestly in cases felt like it was over explaining the obvious, but I am pre-reading for my girls who will love every aspect of this book. While the writing style is simpler, I did enjoy the book front to back, and the author was descriptive so that I could see the story as it evolved and unfolded.
