This book is about a boy called James Choke and his sister Lauren. Their mum is a shoplifting leader, and she dies because of drinking alchohol straight after her pill, which she wasn't supposed to do.

So anyway, Lauren's dad (Ron) takes Lauren in, but James is forced to go instead to an orphanage, where he hooks up with some gangsters and pretty much gets into all sorts of trouble. Until one day, he is recruited by Cherub, a secret agent organisation made up of... not adults but kids. Here James runs into even more trouble, but he also makes some really good friends.

If you want to know more, you should read the book. Trust me, you won't be wasting your time, this is a fantastic book!!!
