I have to say i really loved this book! I didn't think i would love it so much at first, so i just started to read. Then it got so interesting that i finished the whole 300 page book in two days. Let me tell you a bit about it.

There is a sixteen year old girl named D.J. and she is a poor girl who works on a farm. Then a guy from her rival school, who is their quarterback comes and she has to train him. After spending her summer running the family farm and training the quarterback for her school's rival football team, sixteen-year-old D.J. decides to go out for the sport herself, not anticipating the reactions of those around her. And of course i think you know how the boy felt when he learned about her being on a boy's football team. Not only that, but they love each other. Read this book to find out what happens!

At first, when someone gave me this book, I didn't think I'd like it to much. I mean, it's about a country girl's summer...what could possibly be so great about it? But after the first few sentances, I was already addicted.

So many things happen in this book that I could relate to! It's basically about a girl named D.J. who lives in the country...on a farm. She has so many different problems going on in her life. Her mom works two jobs, her two collage football playing brothers won't call home, her dad won't even consider letting her play football, her brother Curtis doesn't talk, and the boy she has to train, and just happens to like, is way out of her league. Oh, and not to mention, someone has a crush on her, too. Her best friend, who happens to be a girl!

I loved this book because I could relate to the problems. It kept me reading, and I could never put it down. If your looking for a funny, addictive, touching book, then this one is great. I got to know the characters so well that when I was done with the book, I was mad it had ended. This is a great teen read!
