The book DAMAGE was ok. the reason is beacause it talked about how kids being depressed and not knowing what to do in life. talking to someone about whats going on in your life might help you out.being depressed in life isnt a good thing and the reason is that the only thing it makes you think about is not being alive anymore.

I think the book Damage was really good.It sounds like something that really would happen to some one. The charcters are really intresting to. They should really tell what happens to Austin at the end of the book. I would recemend that people read this book.

Austin Reid is a football star who makes all the right moves in the classroom and on the football field, but he is falling apart inside. He doesn't know how to combat the emptiness that is filling him up and draining his ability to get on with life. Heather Mackenzie is the popular girl with star looks whose attention Austin credits for bringing him temporarily back to life. He lifes for Heather, but there is something missing that he just can't figure out.

Jenkins' skillful use of words provides visual imagary and brings us into Autins' world which is isolated and filled with thoughts of suicide and Heather. Austin wants to share his feelings with Heather, but all they trully share is sex.

Readers will want to read this book to the end.
