Whoever thought of putting stickers inside of children's books is a genius.
The story:
The dinosaur has never before celebrated Christmas and is confused by everything that goes along with it. Danny takes it upon himself to explain the various traditions from Christmas trees to stockings over the fireplace. The dinosaur decides he wants to celebrate too and they set to work decorating the museum.
What I loved:
It's a very cute way to show a lot of the things kids already know and love about Christmas. It's written in an easy style with engaging images. The best part is the page of stickers and multiple pages of Christmas cards that can be torn out and given to the children's friends. it's a great way to get them involved in the story.
What was just okay:
The age range on Amazon is 4-8 and that works for the Christmas cards, but the story is on the younger end of that. An eight year old would lose interest pretty fast, but my three-year-old niece loved it.
Final Verdict:
A fun way to engage children on our Christmas traditions that is sure to get them excited for the holiday season. Well done. A must-have Christmas book.
