DEAR ALLY, HOW DO YOU WRITE A BOOK is perfect for anyone interested in writing. It doesn't matter if you're a currently published author, intimidated to put pen to the page, or have started a story but don't know where to go. This book is an excellent resource to help build the confidence you need to be a writer.

Not only do we have Ally Carter's advise throughout the book, but there's also advise from authors with different writing styles. We hear from authors like Marissa Meyer, Marie Lu, Holly Black, and so many more. The touch on everything needed to know when it comes to writing. She talks about world building, writing tenses, how to write a good character, word count, and so much more.

I especially liked the list of authors with their lowest word count and the highest. It just goes to show that there isn't one set number, just like there isn't on set way to write. Everyone has their own style and their own method. This book will help you find yours.

Final Verdict: There's so much good advice in this one book that I recommend it to anyone interested in writing, no matter the stage you're at. Even as a published author, it's given me a new insight on some things. Thank you Ally for putting this together!
