Review Detail

Dear Mama's Loving Arms is an adorable young children's book.
I didn't necessarily enjoy the fact that it seemed the mother in the story was pushing the father's love out in the lyrics that she sang to the baby for nap time - whether or not they are true.
I love the illustrations, they are how I would envision an infant or young child's snapshot memories - a bit hazy around the edges but super clear and vivid focal points/middle.
The fact that the story was written in the infants perspective was new for me, and I liked the change of POV.
