I heard from a friend of mine that they preferred Demonglass over Hex Hall. Naturally, this got me even more excited to get my hands on the book and I quickly requested a copy from the library system. However when I started it, I was a little disappointed. It was still good, but I wouldnt say better then Hex Hall. Then, I began to become immersed in the story and, heck yeah; I totally began to agree with my friend. Demonglass has something Hex Hall didnt have; suspense. The intensity of Sophies situation increased gradually over the novel and led to one fantastical, suspenseful ending. The ending left me dangling over a cliff. It was so sudden and unexpected, definitely my favorite part of the book. I cant wait to read the next one and find out what will happen next.
