When Psyche receives a prophecy gone horribly wrong, she learns that even the most beautiful girl in Greece can have a hideous future. Her fate? Fall in love with the one creature even the gods fear. As she feels herself slipping closer into the arms of the prophecy, Psyche must choose between the terrifyingly tender touch she feels almost powerless to resist and the one constant she's come to expect out of life: you cannot escape what is destined.

I give DESTINED 5 stars and suggest you all add it to your To Read Pile.

p.s. I can't wait to see what Jessie comes out with next.
Good Points
I just read DESTINED, and was impressed by Jessie's retelling of the classic Greek story. At first, I found parallels with similar fairy tale stories, such as BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, but once I got a bit further, I realized this was just the set up for the bigger story.

I can't share plot details or risk giving more away, but trust me, it's way more than just a retelling of the classic story. It's worth the read!

DESTINED meets all of your requirements for a classic romance, a Greek myth, and surprisingly a quest for personal reflection and change. Even for a guy to read this, I found myself wondering what would come next and wanting to read all the way to the end to find out. Jessie did a great job of storytelling, and I think you'll be impressed, too.
