Do You Know? Polar Animals and Other Cold Climate Creatures is a fascinating nonfiction book full of information geared toward elementary school-aged children.

What I Liked: The information included in the book is broken down into sections like Frozen Lands of North America and Winter in the Boreal Forest. Eye-catching illustrations help young readers connect visuals with the fun facts on each page. Each page has a sidebar with further information on different topics. There are so many fun facts about animals that you can learn, such as why some moose have big antlers or where snowy owls build their nests. The review pages provided at the end of each section ensure that readers understand what they've read.

I highly recommend this book for young readers who are curious about animals and science. This book is also a wonderful resource for teachers to use.
