Dream Submarine takes you on a journey through the ocean as animals get ready for bed with you. 

What I like: The colors in this book instantly grab your attention and are great for a younger audience. Children will love watching these animals get ready for bed with similar routines, such as brushing their teeth and getting tucked in. As you read along, this book makes you feel that you are on the submarine by taking you diving, resurfacing, rocking with the waves, and more. 

I love that this book takes you on this journey on a submarine with this kid and her imagination. This is a great way to show the extent of a child's imagination and encourage children to use their imagination to tell stories. 

What I wanted more of: This is a bedtime story but there are some parts where the colors of text are not contrasted with the background, therefore making it hard to read. 

Final Verdict: Dream Submarine is a fascinating, quick, and fun story to read to children as part of a bedtime routine. It'll have them drifting off to sleep in no time and you'll end up finishing the story because of how fun it is.
