As a little girl sleeps, she dreams of the ocean and the creatures that inhabit in. In a submarine, the reader is taken on an adventure with her through the watery depths to discover the wildlife that thrives in these conditions. She discovers so many different things that it may inspire some children to look into the path of becoming a marine biologist.
DREAM SUBMARINE is a story about dreams, adventure and it introduces children to different aquatic animals that lurk under the surface. The illustrations are composed of bold colors and dark lines to make them pop off the page. In the back of the book, we see the voyage the girl's submarine takes, more about the animals we see on our path, and more information about the different ocean zones.
Final Verdict: Overall, this is a great introduction to the ocean and what you may expect to see depending on how deep you dive. I would recommend it to children aged four and up who love animals, adventure and the water.
