I just recently finished reading Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. It was my school reading book, and to be honest it was good. Dreamland first starts off with these two girls that are sisters and they both live with their mom and dad. When they were younger, something happened between Caitlin(younger) and Cass(older). As soon as Cass was old enough to finally go off to college, she did. Leaving her family who loves her very much. Caitlin was always looking up to her but got tired of her because she wouldn’t let her do much of anything, she remembered they were sisters but she just needed space. She always will still be looking up to Cass and her good grades, perfect personality, etc. They do keep in touch with each other but not so often, one day when Cass called, their dad answered the phone getting excited as ever to finally talk to his daughter. As soon as her answered the phone though, he didn’t hear a word. He just kept waiting for an answer. Soon enough Cass said “Hello dad, how’s it going over there with mom and Caitlin?” He answered her fast, but because he wanted to get to the point that he wanted his daughter home! That’s the most I’ll give you, to pull you in..you interested?

If you are interested in Sarah Dessen books or anything near her kind of theme, then I would recommend a few of these books; What Happened to Goodbye, Along for the Ride, and That Summer.

I recommend this book to all Sarah Dessen lovers.
Good Points
I like the unpredictably of dreamland. The length that she goes to to hide the abuse is quite shocking. It has a very satisfying ending.
